Merry Christmas!

It snowed through most of last night and continued during today. I got up at the crack this morning and went out to take photographs. I haven’t transferred the ones from my camera to the computer yet, but below are a few from my phone. It was incredibly cold but beautiful as I walked all over the farm. I didn’t take tons of pictures, and I am not sure how they will turn out, but I had a great time. We had a great breakfast and the whole time I was looking out the window as the sun was poking through the clouds and casting soft light over the fields. I didn’t have a chance to go out though, and it had clouded back up by the time I was free. We next exchanged gifts, which took the form of candles. We gave spruce scented candles from Monteagle to everybody and received a couple of nice candles in return. Lunch was basically just a bunch of snacks after which the wife and I drove around town with her brother and his girlfriend. I went back out to take more pictures this afternoon. It was still snowing slightly and was overcast. They are calling for another one to three inches of snow tonight, along with a low of three degrees. Yikes! I will go out again in the morning with the hopes of a pretty sunrise.
