Laying low.

Taking it pretty easy today. I am actually chomping at the bit to get back to work tomorrow. The weather should be beautiful and I want to get in a fun day of working outside. I will probably run the big chain saw a bit and try to burn a lot of wood. I also want to tear down another shed and make another time lapse video of it. This one contains a mix of reusable materials and junk. My dad suggested that I save the crappy wood for kindling, but I don’t want to deal with it at this point. I know that would probably be the smart thing to do, but I don’t have anywhere good to store it now, and am really trying to declutter the property. I will surely regret this decision in a year or so.

I’m not sure when my dad will be coming down to help out this week. Hopefully he will be able to be there at least one day. I really do enjoy working together and it is good to be able to talk through things with him.

I’m still searching like crazy for a tractor, although my money situation is currently a bit murky, so I’m not sure I could buy one even if the perfect one came along. My dad suggested trying to trade my lot in Monteagle for one. I might look for tractors that I would be interesting in trading for and then reaching out. The problem is that I value my lot at about $22,000 and don’t want to have that much tied up in a tractor. I would much rather sell and even if I only netted $20,000 I would spend much less than that on a tractor and implements.

No baby news to report. The wife is feeling pretty good and gaining weight, so happy about that.
